A NEW WAY

THE NEO CHRISTIAN
The Logos
According to Webster’s dictionary, “In Greek philosophy, (the Logos is) reason… the controlling principle of the universe, as being manifested by speech.” (Webster Unabridged).
According to S.E. Frost Jr., Philo, a Greek philosopher who lived about the time of Christ, said, “There was a God who was so pure and so far above everything in this world that He could not possibly come into contact with it… there were many powers which radiated from God as light might radiate from a lamp. One of these powers, which he called the “Logos”, was the creator of the world. This Logos, he taught, worked with matter and out of it created everything in the universe.” (Basic Teachings of the Great Philosophers).

Logos To Son
The Greek term Logos means word. In the New Testament it says that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God.
The Absolute God is inconceivable, unknowable. But there is a Divine Being, who is called the Word, who is with God. This Being is knowable and is intermediate between God and humanity. In the early Christian Church this Being became identified with Christ.
Thus the Greeks and the early Christians both proposed that there is a Being of some sort who was with God. This idea grew into various forms. In the Christian Church, the Absolute became known as the Father and Logos became known as the Son.

A New Church
In the Old Church the Father God became “Jehovah”, a kind of “man in the sky” god. A New Church would identify the Father as the Absolute and the Son as the Divine Being. But these are not two gods. The Absolute comes first and is properly called God. The Divine Being descends from that and is a fragment of that. There are those who believe that Jesus is the Divine Being (the Logos, the Celestial Christ itself), but the Divine Being existed before Jesus was born and still exists now as the Celestial Christ.

AN EASTERN IDEA

In Hinduism there is a similar concept, in which there is an Absolute, called Brahman, and a creator god, called Brahma. But in that system Brahma is a demigod, a replaceable being who rose to that position after millennium of effort.
Ramakrishna, however, presents a concept more similar to the idea of Celestial Christ, of a Divine Being who arises out of the Absolute. To him the Being is the Form of the Absolute, but it is a passing form, which dissolves into the Absolute at the end of the universe.
His idea is a little different from the Neo-Christian idea presented here, where the Divine Being is accorded even more respect. The Divine Being is Eternal. Jesus said, “There is no way to the Father but by me.” It was the Celestial Christ speaking through him, saying the only way we can truly approach the Absolute is by the grace of the Divine Being, the Celestial Christ.

Quotes; Ramakrishna

The idea of a Divine Being and an Absolute was spoken of by the Indian philosopher Ramakrishna (mid 19th century). He uses the terms Personal God and Impersonal God(Brahman).

“The Infinite transforms itself into the finite and appears before the worshiper as God with form. God reveals himself … as an embodied Person.” (Thus spake Sri Ramakrishna)
“Many are the names of God and infinite forms through which he may be approached.”
Ramakrishna’s Vision of Christ
“Rays of light corning from the (painting of) Mother and Child entered his heart and began to change radically the ideas stored there … His devotion to the gods and goddesses were chased into hiding and new thoughts were displacing them.” from Visions of Sri Ramakrishna

“God with form and God without form are not two different beings.” Teachings of Sri RK p.8
“God is formless and God is with form too, and He is that which transcends both form and formlessness. He alone can say what He is.” Teachings of Sri RK p.5
Ramakrishna’s books were published in India without publisher’s name, date, and sometimes page numbers. The books are available at the Vedanta monasteries in So. Calif.

DIVINE BEING- THE CELESTIAL CHRIST

Celestial Christ is another name for the Divine Being.
The Divine Being is a fragment of the Absolute God. The Divine Being is between humanity and the Absolute.
The Absolute God is unknowable and unattainable.
The Absolute is not a being.
The Celestial Christ is the Eternal Form of the Absolute.
The Absolute cannot properly be called formless or void, it is called inconceivable.
The Divine Being is the Source and Creator of all universes.
The Divine Being is the source of all human souls. No person can surpass the Divine Being.
Anyone who thinks they have surpassed the Divine Being is in illusion by Intermediate Beings.
The Divine Being is twelve-dimensional and cannot be conceived of by the three-dimensional mind.
The universe with its Forms can enter a resting state, but it will always return, and we will return with it.
The true meaning of Christianity is acceptance of the Divine Being, the Celestial Christ.
All gods by any name are all parts of the Divine Being.
The Christian “Father” and “Son” may also be taken as symbols for the Absolute and the Divine Being.
“There is no way to the Father but by me” means there is no way to the Absolute except by the Celestial Christ.
Any description of the Divine Being is inadequate and sectarian.

THE ANSWER
What is God like? This is one of the greatest dilemmas for the spiritual student. Which description is correct? Is God a personal being that cares about us, as Christianity says, or is God an impersonal, formless void, as some mysticism says? Well, why not literally accept both? This is not meant to be vaguely open minded. It is possible to have a deep realization that there is a divine being, rising up out of an inconceivable absolute background. This solution answers the question in a very specific way.
Some philosophies have hinted at this system, but they usually do not have enough regard for the Divine Being, who has sometimes been presented as an inferior demiurge or demigod. But there is a perfect Divine Being that is the face and form of the Absolute.
The Logos
According to Webster’s dictionary, “In Greek philosophy, (the Logos is) reason… the controlling principle of the universe, as being manifested by speech.” (Webster Unabridged).

Ghost..little lady in the hall

MY VERY OWN GHOST STORY
II was taking care of my sick mother in her Leisure World condo, and I was sleeping on the couch in her living room. I got up in the middle of the night to check on her, and I entered the long hall in the dark. As I looked down the hall, I was bewildered to see a small figure, a very little woman dressed oddly in mismatched, colorful clothing, like various flowers and prints on a blouse and skirt And she was very distinct, solid looking and glowing, or solid light, if that makes any sense. It was quite clear this was not natural, as there was no one in the house but me and Mom, and Mom was bedridden. It just wasn’t possible, this had to be a spirit. It wasn’t really threatening looking (other than it was a ghost). I was alarmed and wanted to avoid it, so I dodged sideways into the guest bathroom and turned on the very bright light. Then I had the uh-oh feeling it had seen me and was coming up the hall. I was facing a large mirror, and could not see anyone behind me, but I very distinctly could FEEL her run her hand across my back. At this point I was not really frightened, as her touch seemed affectionate. And then she was gone.
I couldn’t think of any females in the family who had died other than my grandmother, and it was said the she was quite crazy. I came to believe it was her.image

Ghosts, Aliens, and the Djinn

imageimageDid you ever wish you were more Intuitive? just let your imagination go, believe your own mind. When I saw the Little Lady in the hall I wondered what she is. My first thought was she is my grandmother, who had serious dementia in the end. But she wasn’t so tiny, and that costume, it’s not even a Swedish historic costume. My second thought was maybe I caught an Alien leaving mothers room, and it quickly disguised itself. That is not unknown, they have appeared as squirrels with big  eyes when caught. And mom had seen a UFO, a golden disk, a little while ago. Or maybe it was both. My grandmother was sitting by my mothers bed, (in spirit) for months, as mom was very ill. Years later, I was drowsing and was imagining a woman with a long white dress at the foot of my bed. Then I wondered why was I imagining that? She was familiar. Who was she? Then I remembered a radio interview I heard about Djinn, genies. Supposedly some people have one. With a jolt I thought she was a Djinn. They can disguise themselves any way they want, maybe she was the Little Lady. That was kind of a jolt, as they can be helpers, or they can be dangerous.

Introduction to Eternal Form

INTRODUCTION to the School of Eternal Form
The ideas in this book are from my own visions; except when stated otherwise.
This book presents a coherent system, not just a jumble of ideas. It is an advancement on all other similar systems. The truth can be known; philosophy evolves, and eventually truth becomes clear.
A GRAND VISION: A Coherent System
The universe itself, with everything in it, all souls, all forms, descended from a higher state of being. All matter is made of pure original energy. The universe is a system. It will eventually come to an end, but it will re-appear in a much more evolved condition.
There are many parts and levels to the universe, planes, dimensions and realms; each term has a very specific meaning.
THE MESSAGE: What is the message or conclusion of the philosophy offered here? It is that the world is good and we are an intrinsic part of it. It is not a false or illusory world. It has an order and we need to learn to live harmoniously in it. We do not have “escape” from it. We only need to evolve. The universe will return to the divine center with us on board.
SPIRITUAL LIFE- If we are part of a material world, then what is spiritual life? Spiritual life means remembering that the world came from a higher place, and must return, and that we are spirit.
Liberation- all living beings in this world are part of one organism, and all people must be liberated together. There is no individual liberation, although individuals can achieve very advanced consciousness.
This book seeks a new direction for Western philosophy which incorporates ideas from mythology, metaphysics, Christianity, and Eastern philosophy, yet remains essentially Western, positive toward the world and life.

New introduction ETERNAL FORM

NEW INTRODUCTION TO THE SCHOOL OF ETERNAL FORM

The first meaning of Form is the shape of things, objects, matter. Your body is your form. A tree or a house are also forms! I hesitate to use the term “matter”, though, because Form is present in the Spirit world, in the Spiritual realms, An object, or a body, is not always solid, physical matter. There are spiritual forms.

THE RETURN- This universe will eventually come to an end, and it will reappear again. The universe is made of pure energy. There is an underlying pattern in that energy, a blueprint, a DNA. When the universe returns, all things, all planets, all stars, all bodies, all persons will return according to that blueprint. The Return basically means resurrection. The whole universe is resurrected! But that next world will be more evolved. The world and all things evolve over time.

THE SPIRIT WORLD- It is obviously a very long time until the end of the universe. So where do we go after we die? All persons, without exception, go the Spirit World. The Spirit World is not an astral world or a mental plane. It is big as the universe, it an underlying universe that is always there. At the outset, it can look very much like this world, with houses and trees and so on. If you wish you can go on to other planes, realms and regions in the Spirit World, like realms of light, heavens, and advanced forms, like spheres.

Please don’t get confused! These terms and concepts are not vague and hazy, these terms are VERY SPECIFIC!

ETERNAL FORM

A”FORM”, A CALLING
The School of Form is very old, dating back to Plato and Socrates. Every few centuries, a new Great Philosopher starts writing about Form. Form has a magical attraction to some people. Philosophers from Aristotle to Aquinas declared that “God is Pure Form.” In my manuscript I have written many pages about definitions of Form. I am looking for a “few good people” who are interested in continuing the School of Form. The essential declaration is that Form is Eternal. Do you believe that Form is eternal? That forms existed before this universe and will always exist? That the relationships between Form, Space, and Forces are worth studying? There are two kinds of attraction to form, a scientific attraction, and a spiritual attraction.
I believe that people are attracted to, or connected to, the five different aspects of this universe. People are connected to Form, or Space, or Forces, or powers or energies. Naturally the people who are connected to Form are the ones who are attracted to it. Also students of metaphysics who are designers, directors of energies, and so on, are also attracted to form.
The Book of Form offers many answers to old questions. Who are we? Where are we? What are we doing here? What is this world? These questions have new and direct answers in this book This new work encourages involvement in the world and the continuing evolution of the world, rather than renunciation and rejection. Evolution is accomplished by continuing growth of knowledge and learning.
There is an attraction to Form which is like a Calling, almost like nuns and monks to a monastery. It is a mysterious power of attraction which is felt by members of the Family of Form. Some may feel scientific curiosity, some may experience philosophical attraction.

THE SCHOOL OF FORM The goals of the School:
to present the idea of “Eternal Form” to the spiritual community through lectures and manuscripts
to work out the metaphysical and physical science of the mechanics of form and forces and promote the ongoing study of Form
CONCEPTS OF FORM
Concepts of Form date back as far as Plato and Socrates. Plato wrote that there is a divine, perfect Idea that material forms strive to imitate, a paradisical form somewhere, that acts as a model for worldly objects. Aristotle also taught that these forms are “in things”.
Thereafter, for many centuries, Western philosophers patterned themselves after Plato and Aristotle. The early Christian philosophers, Saint Augustine and Thomas Aquinas, taught that Ideas or Forms exist in the mind of God. Aquinas and John Duns Scotus taught that God is Pure Form or pure energy.
A modem writer, L.L. Whyte, takes a scientific point of view. He says “particles … tend to assume regular or ordered arrangements” and “The ‘form’ in the new sense of the underlying structural pattern is more important than it material components” (meaning particles) and suggests that there should be Professors of Form and courses on Form in future universities.

THE BOOK OF FORM
In the Book, Form is described as one of the five aspects called Form, Space, Powers, Forces, and Energies. It also states it is the nature of matter to make forms.
Note: it is interesting that Easterners perceive God as “Pure Space” or pure void, and Western philosophers refer to God as “Pure Form”.
I also claim that the Aspects have “families” and Chiefs on Earth. So members of the family of positive forces are attracted to positive thinking, members of the family of form are attracted to Form, and members of Space are attracted to the idea of “pure void”, and so on.

OLD SCHOOL OF FORM
The School of Form is very old, dating back to about 400 years before Christ, with Plato and Socrates. I will quote from S.E. Frost “Basic teachings of the Great Philosophers”. Plato taught that this world is “not real but a copy world” but there is a real world, a spiritual world of ideal forms. Everything in this physical world are copies of the, things in the ideal world. The “ideas” or “forms” are the eternal patterns for things in our world. Thus Plato taught there was a differ-ence between the ideal world and the world of matter, that matter was lifeless.
Plato’s student Aristotle also believed that Ideas or Forms exist, but that Forms “are not outside of and above things, but are in things …. here form and matter are one” and that the world we live in is the real world. Aristotle believed that the “first cause or the unmoved mover” is “pure form without any matter”.

This doctrine of forms of Plato and Aristotle had very high respect for many centuries. Many great philosophers patterned their work after them. Philo, the great Jewish philosopher living about the time of Christ, taught that “everything in the universe is a copy of an idea in the mind of God.” Plotinus, third century, taught that “soul is the form of all things”. All these early philosophers proposed that “the world is, a combination of an idea or form and matter.”
Thereafter the early Christian thinkers “sought to reconcile Christianity with Greek philosophy”, especially after Plato, since he emphasized the difference between the divine world and matter. Saint Augustine said that “the forms which he impressed upon matter were in God’s mind from the beginning of time”. Saint Thomas Aquinas and John Duns Scotus both taught that “God is pure form”. About this time an opposing school of philosophy arose to propose that ideas or forms are not existent and the only real things are material objects. Thus the great early school of form began to recede. The last to speak of it was Francis Bacon of the sixteenth century who said that “by careful study man could discover the laws, causes or forms of objects in the universe”.
S.E. FROST JR. Basic teachings of the Great Philosophers

NEW SCHOOLS OF FORM
The Old School of Form generally emphasized that spiritual form and matter are two separate things, that objects made of matter are patterned after spiritual forms. This arose with Plato and was adopted by the early Christian church because it fitted in nicely with the early Christian doctrine of “contempt for the world”. However Aristotle taught that Form and matter are not separate and that this world we live in is the real world. That is why I say the New School of Form is philosophically more like Aristotle than Plato.
The “New School” takes this one step further by saying that physical forms ARE the spiritual forms, that spiritual forms became physical forms and will become spiritual forms again. In the old school Forms were conceived as spiritual objects or patterns which are somehow impressed on lifeless matter, and that material objects are mere copies, imperfect copies at that. But the New School would say that the original spiritual forms themselves descended and became material forms. That is why matter always becomes form, it was form, and it will always strive to become perfect form. And THAT is why the terms Form and Matter are used interchangeably.
Futhermore, Form, or matter is only one-fifth of the universe. The universe is made out of form, space, powers, forces and energies. Each is one fifth of the universe.
Eastern philosophers say that God is Pure Void (Space) and the early Western philosophers said that God is Pure Form. Other writers have variously depicted God as the creative power, as forces underlying the universe, or as “pure energy”. This is due to cultural differences each writer sees God as himself. Westerners are form-related and see God as Form, Easterners are space-related and see God as Void.

The New School of Form strives to see the Ultimate Reality as all these things, pure form, pure energy, pure void.
A modern writer, L.L. Whyte, takes a scientific point of view. He says “particles … tend to assume regular or ordered arrangements” and “The form” in the new sense of the underlying structural pattern is more important than it’s material components” (meaning particles) and suggests that there should be professors of Form and courses on Form in future universities.
L.L. WHITE Accent on Form

THE NATURE OF FORM
The reason that Form must have a representative is that Form has a nature of it’s own. One would tend to think that the evolution of Forms would be the concern of the Department of the (Creative) Powers. Certainly it is the job of the Creative Functionals to do the actual designing of objects in this society, but it is the concern of the Department of Form to advise and approve designs. Remember, the Department of Form means the “department of matter”. It is a mistake to assume that matter has no character or form. Matter always assumes a shape. That is basic to it’s nature. It is the job of creative functionals to bring out form, in accordance with it’s true nature. Also the old saying “form follows function” should be inspected. If Form has a true nature of it’s own, then it is more than a vehicle for function. This is seen clearly in art, where beautiful forms have no practical function.
I think it will be found that any design that disregards the nature of form will turn out to be a bad design. And it will be found that certain persons have a talent for knowing what a good form is. This will probably be some kind of advisor rather than an artist. And that is the way that the department of Form will start to exist in both manufacturing and science.

My assessment of the “five departments” is based on metaphysics and philosophy now, but it will be a science in the future. If I say that the world is made of five Aspects, called form, space, forces, energies and powers, that is philosophy. Each aspect has a character and a nature of it’s own, and each aspect must have a representative. This is more important than we can guess at this time. Modem science may disagree as to what the world is made of. But regardless of what the world is made of I do not think it is to far-fetched to say that there will be representatives of form, of space, of forces and so on in future administrations.
One reason the term Form is used instead of the word matter, is that all the aspects are part of matter. I mean that matter is made of physical forces, energies and substance. As far as I am concerned, “matter” is a conglomerate of substance, space, forces, energies and powers. So the substance aspect must have a name of it’s own, “Form”.
FORM AND SPIRIT
Why is the study of Form important to the spiritual community? If form is illusion, then it is not important. If Form is eternal, then it must be important. I call myself a Teacher of Form. I call myself a “channel” of form. And the teaching of Form is that Form is eternal.
There are visible forms in the eternal spiritual world. The visible forms of this world are in principle, like the forms in the spiritual world. The laws and forms of the physical world are like the laws and forms of the spiritual world. It is said that we are here in this world to learn a lesson. That lesson is law, form, forces, principles, behavior, relationships and consciousness.

ORTEGA mystic trees

Image
I like the trees at the mountain camp too.
 the live oaks
gracious givers of shade and acorns.
in the grove beyond the camp,

I couldn’t sleep for two nights
it’s hard to sleep in the mountain camp
it’s very cold and dusty
laid awake all night annoyed,
before the dawn,
wakefulness pulled aside the layers
I forgot how close to the inferno I am
it’s been covered over lightly
the starry vortex.
My god, I’m full of stars
a comet emerges and
passes invisibly behind my head
with a whooshing sound.
